Free Wi-Fi is available to Dubai citizens at bus and marine transport stations

Passengers on Dubai’s commuter trains can now enjoy free Wi-Fi at 21 public transport stops and 22 marine transport stations, thanks to a recent rollout by the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA). This is reported by Emirates News Agency (WAM), a partner of TV BRICS.

The new service allows passengers to stay connected with their smartphones, tablets and laptops while using public transport. This step is an important part of the RTA’s broader digital transformation strategy, which is in line with Dubai’s ambition to become the smartest and happiest city in the world.

The RTA has confirmed that the Wi-Fi service will be continuously evaluated and improved in the future to ensure high-quality and reliable connectivity on all modes of public transport.
