Cuba and India have strengthened their cooperation in digital transformation following an official meeting between Cuba’s Ministry of Justice and executives from an Indian government’s digital platform. This was reported by BERNAMA, a TV BRICS partner.
The talks focused on sharing expertise in secure document storage and the modernisation of public services, with participation from government officials, technology specialists, and representatives of Cuba’s tech firms.
The Indian side presented its experience in developing secure, paperless systems that allow citizens to store, share, and authenticate official documents with full legal validity, helping to cut bureaucracy and improve efficiency. Discussions also examined the impact of digital wallets in India, which have transformed access to public and private services while advancing a “paperless” philosophy.
According to the report, this exchange marks a significant step in Cuba’s efforts to advance its digital transformation, modernise administrative processes, and improve citizen services through secure and efficient technological solutions.
