A presentation of the tourism potential of Heilongjiang Province was held in the Chinese city of Fuyuan. Guests were introduced to the summer routes of the current season, the development of winter tourism, and the cultural features of all 13 cities and prefectures of the province. This was reported by Dongbeiwang, a partner of TV BRICS.
It was noted that the region is actively developing its tourism sector. In just the first half of 2025, it welcomed 135 million tourists – an increase of 13.8 per cent compared to the same period last year.
At the presentation, organisers invited travellers from China and other countries to discover the province’s natural treasures – dense forests, lakes, rivers, wetlands, and snowy landscapes.
It was previously reported that as of 9 June 2025, China has launched an experimental unilateral visa-free policy for citizens of Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, and Bahrain. Holders of ordinary passports from these countries may enter China visa-free for up to 30 days for the purposes of tourism, business, visiting relatives, cultural exchange, or transit.
