The city’s AI strategy aims for smarter and faster services
Dubai has taken a major leap forward in digital governance with the launch of an ambitious artificial intelligence strategy designed to redefine public services. The initiative aims to integrate AI across all government operations, creating smarter, faster, and more efficient services for residents and businesses.
The comprehensive plan was announced during Dubai AI Week, reported by Emirates News Agency (WAM), a partner of TV BRICS. At its core, the strategy focuses on automating services, streamlining processes, and implementing intelligent systems that can anticipate and respond to user needs in real time.
Key features of the transformation include instant digital processing of documents, AI-powered voice and text response systems, and smart automation of routine services. The approach is built on twenty key principles covering data analysis, predictive technology, system integration, and robust cybersecurity measures.
One of the first areas to benefit will be maritime services, with new AI systems set to launch in mid-2025 before expanding across other government departments by year-end.
