Thailand’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs marked the 58th anniversary of the founding of ASEAN by hosting the ASEAN Family Run 2025 at Lumpini Park in Bangkok. This was reported by BERNAMA, a TV BRICS partner.
The event, which featured a 2.5-kilometre walk-run and an ASEAN flag-hoisting ceremony, brought together around 500 participants, including diplomats from ASEAN member states, ASEAN partners, government representatives, private sector delegates, international organisations, and members of the public.
Thai Foreign Minister Maris Sangiampongsa highlighted ASEAN’s role in promoting unity, stability, and prosperity across the region, echoing its vision of fostering an inclusive and people-centred society.
